Advances the argument that a monarchy is unreconcilable with egalitarianism and commitment to democratic constitutional process.It labels the constitutional arrangements in Australia as leading to undue dominance by White Anglo-Saxon Protestants, and then discusses migration and migrants alienation from existing arrangements. It also address what are seen as fallicious comparisions with the failings of other British colonies which have become republics.
