- Abstract
Double-sided leaflet issued at the Memorial Service held at The Bakery soon after the death of Vietnamese communist leader Ho Chi Minh in August 1969. Eulogies to Ho were delivered by Monash Labor Club leader Michael Hyde and Unitarian Church Minister, the Reverend Victor James. The congregation sang 'The Internationale.'
Ho Chi Minh was revered by many student radicals, and certainly by most in the Monash Labor Club. At The Bakery’s Friday night coffee lounge, Ewan McColl’s Ballad of Ho Chi Minh was sung regularly.
