A) The Defence Force Protection Act (Commonwealth of Australia, 1967 …..No. 57 of 1967). Three pages, gestetnered. The Act was assented to September 9, 1967.
B) Documents of resistance to the ‘Defence Force Protection Act’ (Commonwealth of Australia, 1967).1) Letter of ‘Committee to Challenge the Defence Force Protection Act’. N.d, circa January 1968.
The aim of the letter is to involve one hundred or more people in defiance of the legislation by sending $1 (Aust) to the Medical Aid for Vietnam Committee in London. The London committee was proscribed by the Australian government as a ‘front’ for the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam (the “Vietcong”).2) ‘Public Statement’.

The Committee apologises for the long delay, admits only 26 people have become involved in the scheme, and proposes to proceed with the release of the public statements.
