Title
Why Register for National Service?/The Right to Dissent
Imprint
Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), Sydney, 1968
Abstract

‘Why Register for National Service?’
Four-paged, A5, printed brochure. N.d, circa mid-to-late 1968.
The brochure was printed in Sydney but there is indication of Melbourne SDS involvement. By calling on young men to refuse to register for National Service, the signatories were in clear breach of Federal law. To minimise the risk of arrest, the brochure was ‘authorised’ by a significantly large number of people.

‘The Right to Dissent’.
Four paged, A5, gestetnered.
Another version of the ‘Why Register’ brochure (see Document Five).
Authorised by Public Affairs Committee, Monash Association of Students.
