Abstract

Published by the Committee in Defiance of the National Service Act (spokesman Ken McLeod) to explain the significance of the “We Resist” advertisement placed in ‘The Australian’ newspaper, June 24, 1969. The advertisement carried the names of three hundred people from NSW and ACT defying the Crimes Act by declaring support for young men refusing to register under the National Service Act.
