Abstract

This issue contains articles on diggers' grievances which were later to become issues in the Eureka rebellion. Articles include: editorial on the murder of James Scobie outside the Eureka Hotel and the subsequent public meeting called to find the perpetrators after which the Eureka Hotel was burnt down.
