Abstract

The first issue of the journal Intervention as produced by left-wing intellectuals in Melbourne associated mainly with the left tendency of the Communist Party of Australia. Commencing with this issue in April 1972, the last issue was No. 16 in 1982, by which time very few of the editors had connections with the CPA.
